Sandler

Looking for a safe and caring home for our dog Sandler. He is a love lush and gets so excited to love on people. Sandler does great with children in a family environment or would make a perfect companion dog for one person or a couple. He is 7 years old and is struggling with a hip/joint issue, but if he does not have extensive exercise, he does fine.

Sandler responds excellent to simple commands and does great with being indoor or outdoor as weather permits. He sleeps through the night and does not need to be put out until morning. Sandler is an excellent guard dog and will alert his family of an intruder on property and even has a specific “rattle snake” bark. He does not do so great with other dogs as he is territorial and very protective. He has a passion for peanut butter and coconut oil. He is a snuggler and loves attention. Our groomer says he is the best dog on her route as he is so loving and attentive.

Due to traveling out of state and spending time with aging parents, we are unable to keep Sandler and looking for the perfect companion or family.
