Charlie is a bit of an odd duck.  He is older about 7 years old but healthy and with many great years of love to give.  He appears to be a Chihuahua mixed with a heeler – if that’s even likely.  He is about 10 pounds and is “wiry”.  He is neutered.

I don’t know his history – but he comes across as a bit of a nervous dog at first. He tolerates other dogs but doesn’t do much with them – he prefers his human.  He spends a lot of time sleeping on the back of the chair.  He had a significant dental a couple years back with multiple extractions but still can eat crunchy foods.

He is very sweet but is just nervous – you have to be slow in approaching him or he shakes uncontrollably and trills.  He wouldn’t give “kisses” for a long time but has worked up to it.  I have a gut feeling he was abused in a ‘previous life’.  He’s like the typical neurotic Chihuahua – just a little bit bigger.   Once he warms up to you…and he DOES warm up, he’ll be your friend for life!
