Max was a stray found in Rancho El Dorado in 2015. He was neutered/vaccinated & chipped by rescue when no one claimed him. He was adopted by a local family who’s female dogs began picking on Max incessantly. Owners refused to get training or work with their other dogs to ensure Max’s safety & he was given back to the rescue. Max was placed in the same foster family who diligently worked with him and who have met successfully with a professional canine trainer. Max believes he is a lap dog despite his size (45lbs) and does wonderfully with both female dogs in his foster home. He is fully housebroken with doggy door / kennel. He has attended group training sessions where he is anxious to be with the other dogs off-leash but where the foster family works with him to learn his basic commands and to not pull on his leash. He’s a really great dog who needs a family who has the time & love for him. He is NOT good with cats & would do best as an only pet.
